The opportunity tab is the vendor view, if you have invited a vendor to participate in a project, you will be able to see the opportunity tab and related vendor opportunities.
You can also see what a particular vendor sees by copying and pasting the invitation link in your own browser. By accessing the link, you will become part of the vendor opportunity.
